The Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge which is the penultimate event in the Challenge Tour’s “Road to Oman” series, is this year being sponsored by Hunt and Harris, Ras Al Khaimah’s leading Real Estate Company.
The main event runs from 25th October to 28th October at the picturesque Al Hamra Golf Club where the 18 hole course designed by Peter Harradine, meanders around four interconnecting lagoons which eventually merge with the waters of the Arabian Gulf.
This is the second year that the Al Hamra Golf Club has hosted this event. Last year’s winner, Jordan Smith has gone on to achieve success on the main European Tour and this year’s Challenge Tour leader Tapio Pulkkanen from Finland, will no doubt be looking to emulate Jordon’s success.
Practice for the event starts on Monday 23rd October with a Pro-Am competition being staged on Tuesday 24th.
